Des langues de spécialité à la communication spécialisée: un nouveau paradigme de recherche à l'intersection entre sciences du langage, info-com et sciences cognitives ?

International audienceCet article propose une synthèse critique de l'évolution de la recherche sur les discours spécialisés pour esquisser ce que pourraient en être, dans le contexte actuel, les développements à venir. Il commence par retracer les grandes lignes de l'évolution en insistant sur le dépassement du fait terminologique pour une saisie holistique des productions discursives considérées. Il insiste ensuite sur les conditions d'existence du nouveau paradigme défendu ici en prônant une entrée non par la langue, mais par la spécialité permettant d'accéder, à travers des collaborations interdisciplinaires, au mode d'organisation conceptuelle des domaines spécialisés. Les potentialités d'une telle approche sont finalement illustrées à partir de deux exemples concrets issus du domaine vitivinicole

Iterative Thickness Regularization of Stratigraphic Layers in Discrete Implicit Modeling

International audienceDiscrete implicit modeling consists in representing structural surfaces as isovalues of three-dimensional piecewise linear scalar fields, which are interpolated from available data points. Data are expressed as local constraints that can enforce the value of the scalar fields as well as their gradients. This paper illustrates some limitations of published discrete implicit methods, related to the difficulty of controlling the norm of scalar field gradient and its evolution over the interpolated domain. It is shown that important artifacts may arise due to the intrinsic dependence between variations in the norm and the direction of the scalar field gradient, from one element to its neighbors. Evidence that these artifacts are related to mesh facet direction with respect to gradient direction are given. The artifacts lead to rapid and uncontrolled variations of thickness that may induce erroneous interpolations. This paper proposes two original approaches to overcome these problems. The first one consists in iteratively adjustingthe norm of scalar field gradients in the direction obtained after previous iterations. The second solution consists in optimizing the mesh used by the interpolation. This requires finding appropriate mesh facet orientationwith respect to scalar field gradient. These methods demonstrate that the results of discrete implicit surface interpolation can be improved and call for further development of available interpolation schemes

Pages 221-334International audienceDieser Beitrag ist einer phraseologischen Untersuchung von Wolfgang Beckers erfolgreichem Film Goodbye, Lenin! gewidmet. Ziel der Analyse ist es zu zeigen, dass viele meistens als SED-typisch betrachtete stilistische Züge aus phraseologischer Sicht untersucht werden können bzw. sollten. Nach einer im Sprachgebrauch verankerten Definition der ehemaligen DDR-Sprachvarietät, widmet sich der Hauptteil des Beitrags einer funktionalen Analyse der eingesetzten Sprachfertigteile, wobei auch ihre Rolle für die ironische Dimension des Films berücksichtigt wird.This paper proposes a phraseological approach to Wolfgang Becker's successful film Goodbye, Lenin! It aims at showing that most of the stylistic features which are usually considered to be typical of the jargon used and imposed by the former East-German Communist Party (SED) can – and should – be also studied from a phraseological point of view. After giving a definition of the East-German variety as a variety in terms of the use of language, the main part of the paper offers a functional analysis of the phrasemes – prototypical and modified forms – used in the film, whereby we also focus on their role concerning the ironic dimension of the film

Les constructions causatives avec mouvement en allemand : d'une saisie phraséologique à une explication constructionnelle

International audienceCet article propose une analyse constructionnelle de certaines structures de l'allemand (du type Sie sang das Kind in den Schlaf) en les situant par rapport aux constructions causatives avec mouvement (caused motion constructions) analysées en anglais par Goldberg (1995). La thèse centrale repose sur l'idée d'un continuum de causativité partant d'un côté de mini systèmes plus ou moins grammaticalisés et/ou lexicalisés (locutions à verbe fonctionnel) pour se clore sur des structures au premier abord difficilement explicables en termes de constructions régulières. La démonstration vise à mettre en évidence l'existence d'un schéma, relativement abstrait, commun aux différents types d'énoncés envisagés qui, dans les cas les moins attendus et à première vue les moins figés/lexicalisés, nécessite tout de même de revenir aux notions de restrictions et, dans une certaine mesure, de figuration propres aux approches phraséologiques classiques

All are based on Jatropha production and outgrowers schemes. They aim to produce oil for rural electrification or biodiesel for transport. Based on a multi-scale analysis, this article aims to analyze the conditions of emergence of this biofuel innovation system. The international dynamic on biofuel materialized in Mali through the announcement of numerous biofuel projects. Our article analyses at the national level what factors have created a window of opportunity for biofuel. Then it characterizes the way agricultural, energy, and research sectors have shaped or hindered the innovation system through lock in effects or social, technical and institutional path dependencies. Based on case studies, the article emphasizes the lack of inter-connexion among the different projects though very similar. It concludes on the coordination stakes to maintain an opportunity window for the development of the biofuel innovation system
